The salary filter only applies to ads that carry a figure โ roles with no salary are always shown. Use Salary published to require one the advertiser committed to. A tag reading AI estimate (dashed outline) was read out of the ad text by a model, not published as a salary โ treat it as approximate.
Nothing matches those filters. Try widening the location, or drop the minimum match score.
How this board works
Every listing here is pulled from a public source โ Queensland Government SmartJobs, employers' own careers feeds, and a national aggregator โ then scored against a senior HSE profile: national and regional safety management in mining, resources, heavy equipment, construction materials and infrastructure.
Scoring is location-independent. Brisbane is the default view, but a Perth or Sydney role is ranked on role fit alone, so switching the location filter never reshuffles the merit order.
There are two salary bars, and the difference matters. A low hard floor drops roles that are a different job entirely. The slider above starts at the target band but can be dragged down to reveal everything above the hard floor โ so it is a view, not a deletion. There is deliberately no upper limit: a bigger role is never filtered out.
Most Australian senior ads state no salary at all, so a missing figure is never treated as a rejection and is never hidden by the slider. Click Why this scored on any card to see the full breakdown, including any field a model filled in.
Where a salary came from
Two different things, always distinguished:
- $168,000 package published by the advertiser as a salary figure.
- AI estimate: ~$180,000 package read out of the ad's wording by a language model, rounded to the nearest $1,000. It can be wrong โ confirm it against the ad.
An AI-read salary is used only for display and for the salary slider. It is never allowed to remove a role from the board, so a model misreading a figure cannot make a real job disappear.
Save and Not interested are stored in this browser only โ there is no account and no server holding them. A removed role stays removed even if the employer reposts it under a new ad, because the match is on title and employer rather than the ad's id. Clearing this site's data in your browser clears both lists, and they do not follow you to another device.
